We Do a Lot More Than Tires
Plenty of people who have bought tires here for years do not know the rest of it happens in the same building. Brakes, A/C, front end, suspension, diagnostics and more.
What is on the list
Jump to what you came for, or read down.
Brakes and rotors
Pads, rotors and the rest of the braking system. Grinding, squealing, a soft pedal or a shudder when you slow down are all worth having looked at rather than lived with.
Brake work is straightforward to quote once someone has actually seen the vehicle, which is why we will look at it before saying what it needs.
Front end, steering and suspension
Tie rods, ball joints, bushings and the steering components that wear out quietly over years. A vehicle that wanders, clunks over bumps or will not hold an alignment usually has something worn underneath it.
Because alignment is done here too, the cause and the alignment can be dealt with in one visit instead of two shops.
Shocks and struts
Shocks and struts wear gradually enough that most people do not notice until they are replaced. A vehicle that floats over dips, nose-dives under braking or wears tires unevenly is a candidate.
They are replaced here, and the alignment afterwards is done on site.
A/C service
Air conditioning in this part of Texas is not a luxury item. A/C service is on the list, and it is the sort of thing worth sorting out in April rather than in the middle of August.
If it is blowing warm, cycling oddly or smelling wrong, have it looked at.
Diagnostics
Check-engine lights, warning lights and the faults behind them. A light on the dash is information, not a verdict — the point of diagnostics is to find out what it is actually telling you before anyone replaces a part.
Tire-pressure and warning-light diagnostics are covered too. See tire pressure and warning lights.
Batteries
Battery testing and replacement. Most batteries give some warning — slow cranking, lights dimming at idle — and most people ignore it until a cold morning settles the matter.
If you are already stuck, roadside covers battery jump starts around the clock.
Oil changes and tune-ups
Oil changes and tune-ups, done while you are here for something else if that suits. It is not the glamorous end of the work, but it is the part that keeps everything else from becoming a bigger job.
Lift and leveling kits
Lift and leveling kits fitted, with the wheels, tires and alignment handled in the same place — which matters, because changing ride height changes the geometry and the tire fitment together.
See wheel alignment and wheel and tire packages.
What we do not do
Transmission work is referred out. It is not something this shop takes on, and you are better served by someone who does it every day.
We would rather tell you that now than have you drop a vehicle off and find out later. If you are not sure whether what you need is on the list, call and describe it.
Get a price or book the work
Most people call — it is usually the fastest way to get a real answer. If it is easier to type it out, send the details and we will get back to you.
Request a tire quote
Have your tire size ready if you can — it is on the sidewall, and plenty of people run a size different from what the vehicle came with.
