Trailer & Boat Trailer Service
Not just a trailer tire off the shelf — bearings, hubs and brakes as well, for boat, utility and equipment trailers.
What we do on trailers
A trailer is the thing people remember two days before they need it. Bring it in early if you can.

Trailer tires and wheels
Trailer tires do not wear the way a car tire does. They spend long stretches parked, often loaded, often in the sun — and they tend to fail from age and sidewall cracking rather than from tread wear.
We carry trailer sizes and can fit new wheels where the old ones are past saving. If you are not sure what is on there, read the size off the sidewall and call.
Bearings and hubs
A hot hub after a drive is a warning. Bearings that have been run dry, or repeatedly dunked at a boat ramp, will eventually seize — usually a long way from home.
Bearings and hubs are serviced and replaced here, so a trailer can be checked over properly rather than just having a tire thrown on it.
Trailer brakes
Loaded trailers stop badly when the brakes are not working, and it is not always obvious from the driver seat that they have stopped doing anything at all.
Trailer brake work is handled here alongside the tires and bearings.
Boat trailers
Boat trailers get the same work — tires, wheels, bearings, hubs and brakes — and they need it more often, because saltwater and fresh water are both hard on a trailer that is reversed into them regularly.
It is worth having a boat trailer looked over before the season rather than at the ramp.
Utility and equipment trailers
Work trailers earn their keep and get very little attention until something goes wrong. Utility, landscaping and equipment trailers are all handled here.
If the trailer carries something heavy, mention it when you call — it changes which tire is the right one.
Getting it sorted
Trailer work is usually quicker to describe on the phone than in a form — tell us the trailer, what it is doing, and whether it is loaded.
Get a price or book the work
Most people call — it is usually the fastest way to get a real answer. If it is easier to type it out, send the details and we will get back to you.
Request a tire quote
Have your tire size ready if you can — it is on the sidewall, and plenty of people run a size different from what the vehicle came with.
