Farm, Ag & Industrial Tires

Tractor and implement tires, flotation tires, industrial equipment, split rims and tires tall enough to look you in the eye. A lot of this is work other shops send away.

The work other shops send away

Agricultural and industrial tires are heavy, awkward and occasionally dangerous to work on. They need equipment, space and someone who has done it before — which is why plenty of tire shops quietly decline them.

This is one of the things Airport Tire is known for locally. If you have been told no somewhere else, it is worth a phone call here.

Farm and agricultural tires

Tractor tires, implement tires and the rest of what keeps a place running. Front and rear, lugged and ribbed, on equipment that does not stop being needed because a tire went down.

Agricultural work has its own seasons, and a tire failure in the middle of one is not a scheduling inconvenience — it is the whole day.

Flotation tires

Flotation tires spread weight over soft ground so equipment stays on top of a field instead of sinking into it. They are wide, heavy and not something every shop stocks or wants to handle.

They are handled here.

Industrial and equipment tires

Loaders, backhoes, skid steers, forklifts and the rest of the yard. Industrial tires take a beating from surfaces that were never designed to be driven on.

If it is on a jobsite and it rolls, it is worth asking about.

Split rims

Many shops avoid split rims entirely, because of the knowledge and the safety requirements involved in working on them. That is a reasonable decision on their part, and it leaves people with equipment that nobody will touch.

Split-rim work is done here.

Oversized and heavy tires

Some of what comes through this shop stands several feet tall and weighs hundreds of pounds. Moving it safely is half the job, and the equipment to do that is on site.

If you are not sure whether something is too big, describe it on the phone. The answer is more often yes than you would expect.

Out in the field

Equipment that cannot be driven to town does not have to be. Roadside runs 24 hours on the same number and covers farm and heavy equipment as well as highway vehicles.

Tell us what the machine is, where it is sitting and what the tire is doing, and we can work out what to bring. No towing, no fuel delivery, no lockouts.

Call and ask

We are not going to claim every size on earth is on the shelf. What we will say is that this shop takes on work most will not, and the range here is unusually wide.

Tell us the machine and the tire — or send a photograph of the sidewall to 903-873-5555 — and you will get a straight answer either way.

Get a price or book the work

Most people call — it is usually the fastest way to get a real answer. If it is easier to type it out, send the details and we will get back to you.

Request a tire quote

Have your tire size ready if you can — it is on the sidewall, and plenty of people run a size different from what the vehicle came with.
