Tires for Just About Anything You Drive

Passenger cars through 18-wheelers, farm equipment and boat trailers. The racks here are deep enough that other tire shops call when they are short a size.

Inventory and sourcing

Many common passenger and light-truck sizes are on the shelf, which is usually the difference between leaving with tires today and leaving with an appointment. When a size is not here, it is often available same day or next day.

The clearest measure of that inventory is not our own claim about it: other tire shops call here for sizes and specialty products they cannot get.

Sizes and stock change constantly, so the honest answer about a specific tire is a phone call. Have the size off the sidewall and we can tell you what is here.

Tire repair

Not every flat needs a new tire. Bring it in and we will look at where the damage is and whether the tire can be safely repaired — a nail in the tread is a very different thing from a cut in the sidewall.

If it cannot be repaired, we will tell you that plainly, and there is a good chance the replacement is already on the shelf.

Balancing

A vibration through the wheel or the seat at highway speed is usually balance. Tires are balanced when they are mounted, and we can rebalance a set that has started to shake.

Heavy trucks are a different job with different equipment — see big-truck spin balancing.

Tire pressure and warning lights

A tire-pressure light can mean a slow leak, a cold morning, or a sensor that has reached the end of its life. We can check the pressures, find the leak if there is one, and diagnose the sensors rather than guessing.

Other warning lights are worth a look too — diagnostics are done here.

Getting a price

Tire quotes are handled by phone or at the counter, because the right answer depends on the size, the vehicle and what is in stock that day.

Have your tire size ready if you can. It is molded into the sidewall and looks like 225/65R17 or LT265/70R17. Read it off the tire rather than the door sticker — plenty of vehicles are running a size different from the one they left the factory with.
